| New User Registration |
| Upon New Member Registration, you agree to abide by our Terms of Service agreement. We allow one user account per person on this forum. Using your business name as your username is encouraged, but not required.
Once your new account has been approved by the Administrative and Moderation Staff, your account will become active and you will be able to make posts throughout the public forums. All newly registered members begin with a 60 day probationary membership period. During this time, if a member is given a violation, they will be issued an immediate 2 week ban. All infractions are disputable with the moderators and board. For additional details, please read the 'Infractions and Violations' section of our TOS. | Infractions and Violations |
| Each of the 1-point Violations below will be enforced by the Staff and Moderators of this website. We have a '3 strikes' no tolerance policy at Reptile Culture, and we take these rules very seriously.
Members will be issued 1 Warning before moving along to the point system. 3 points - 2 week ban 6 points - 1 month ban 9 points - 6 month ban 12 points - 1 year ban Violation of the General Rules and Guidelines Signature Rule Violation Insulting Other Member(s) Inappropriate Language Inappropriate Profile Image(s) Inappropriate Image(s) Posted Disrespecting Member(s) and/or Staff Quoting Members/Staff or Copyrighted source without explicit permission Community Disruption Trolling/Harassment Racial/Sexist Slur Posting Under Another Users Profile Impersonation and/or creation of a secondary user account Personal/Ethical Attack on Person or Business Threats of Violence Sexual Harassment Moderators and Admins have the right to add infractions and violations to this list as they see fit. Each Member of this website has the right to dispute any infraction with the moderators and staff of this website. To dispute an infraction, please contact the moderation staff, once we have received your proposal, we will then put the infraction through a vote between the moderators and contact you asap with our decision. |

| Reptile Culture is proud to be the first online community to offer members FREE Auctions for selling their animals and reptile-related supplies. Please read the TOS below carefully before posting an Auction.
1) ALL SELLERS ARE REQUIRED to have at least 3 positive Trader Ratings in order to post as a Reptile Culture Auctions Verified Seller. ANY negative feedback disqualifies a member from selling. 2) ALL BUYERS must pay for their item(s) within 5 days of the close of the auction, or the animal(s) will be offered to the next highest bidder, at sellers discretion, unless other arrangements are made. 3) ALL SELLERS ARE LIMITED to 5 Auctions per Month. 4) SELLER receive 100% of auction proceeds unless otherwise noted in the auction at the time of sale. 5) SELLER is responsible for stating all Terms of Sale for EACH auction. 6) Reptile Culture is NOT responsible for bad deals, buyers failure to pay, or any other transaction details. |
| Chat Room TOS |
| The TOS of this website applies to ALL areas of this website, chatroom discussions included!
-- A minimum post count of 25 is required in order to gain Chat Room privileges. -- Absolutely under no circumstance can a user flood the forums with posts in order to gain access to the Chat Room. If the Mods find evidence of this, your access to the chatrooms will be immediately revoked. -- Private Messages will remain private, and are not viewable by the moderators. -- Instant Messages (bar on the bottom of the screen) will remain private, and are not viewable by the moderators. -- The Chat Logs are reviewed daily by the moderators. Any warnings and violations will be given with quotes from the chat logs.
